The Americanstruction Roofing Process

At Americanstruction, we believe every homeowner deserves clarity, honesty, and a personalized approach when it comes to their roof. From the first conversation to the final walkthrough, our process is designed to provide peace of mind, eliminate surprises, and deliver exceptional craftsmanship. We treat every home like we would our grandma’s — suggesting only what is necessary, avoiding unnecessary upsells, and always putting the homeowner first.

Here’s how we make it happen:

We Inspect Your Home & Provide You With an Updated Roof Health Report

We have a Two-Step Consultation Process

We Break Things Down With You in a Pre-Construction Meeting

Execute the Plan on Build Day

After the Project is Done We Clean Up and Do a Walkthrough to Ensure Everything is Up To Our Standard

Inspection & Roof Health Report: Every project begins with a detailed inspection process. Using drones, thermal imaging, attic inspections, and diagnostic water tests, we identify the true source of any issues, not just the symptoms. Every client receives a Roof Health Report, complete with annotated photos, observations, and recommended next steps. These reports are educational and are provided even when no work is needed, helping homeowners understand the true condition of their roof.

Two-Step Consultation Process: Our approach mirrors a trusted medical evaluation.

      1. Assessment & Education: We gather all facts, document findings, and educate you on your roof’s condition.

      2.  Proposal & Planning: We present a comprehensive SumoQuote proposal, including design features, ventilation optimization, material details, optional upgrades, and financing options. Proposals are delivered in person or virtually to ensure full understanding and clarity. Financing is presented upfront, making quality roofing accessible for a wider range of homeowners.

Pre-Construction Meeting: Before Build Day, we host a pre-construction meeting to review the scope, timeline, contingencies, and expectations. We proactively address potential surprises — because in construction, the unexpected is inevitable — and set the stage for a smooth project.

Build Day Execution: Every job has a dedicated site supervisor who ensures quality, safety, and communication throughout the project. The production manager oversees quality control across the team to guarantee every roof meets our high standards. Crews focus on craftsmanship while supervisors handle logistics, relay information, and act as a resource for both clients and neighbors.

Quality Control, Cleanup, & Walkthrough: Multiple layers of quality checks ensure nothing is overlooked: the crew completes their work, the site supervisor inspects, and our sales rep performs a final recheck the next day. Cleanup is thorough, and a final walkthrough with the client ensures any requested tweaks are addressed through a punch list. Manufacturer and workmanship warranties provide additional confidence, but our real value lies in the attention to detail and care embedded throughout every step.

Long-Term Support & Maintenance: We recommend roof health check-ups every 18 months to catch small issues before they become costly problems. Each inspection builds a homeowner history file, creating a foundation for trust and long-term partnership, not just a one-time service.

At Americanstruction, our focus is on exceptional client experience, transparency, and quality workmanship. From start to finish, we provide the tools, expertise, and communication homeowners need to feel confident in the safety, longevity, and value of their roof.
