Trusted Residential Siding Contractor

Residential Siding

Proudly Serving the Greater Chicago, Mokena, and Joliet Area.

At Americanstruction, we install and service premium siding systems with a focus on what happens behind the panels as much as what shows on the surface. Proper house wrap, insulation, and flashing details determine whether a siding installation actually performs or simply looks good on day one. We work with high-grade vinyl and engineered wood products, including LP® SmartSide®, and follow manufacturer-specific installation standards to ensure durability, moisture control, and long-term warranty compliance across the south suburban Chicago area.

A Trusted Roofing Company Prepared for all issues impacting your siding

Siding Installation

New siding changes the look of a property immediately - but its real value is in what it prevents. A properly installed system controls moisture infiltration, improves thermal performance, and protects the structure underneath from the kind of long-term damage that goes unseen until it becomes expensive. We install premium vinyl and LP® SmartSide® engineered wood siding with careful attention to house wrap selection, fanfold insulation, corner and window flashing, and manufacturer nailing patterns. Every detail matters - because improper installation is the most common reason siding systems fail prematurely.

Siding Repair

Damaged or deteriorating siding compromises more than appearance - it opens the building envelope to moisture, pests, and energy loss. Whether the issue is isolated panel damage, impact from a storm, or widespread deterioration, we assess the full scope before recommending a repair approach. Where possible, we match existing profiles and colors for a clean finish. Where damage is more extensive, we provide an honest evaluation of whether targeted repair or broader replacement is the more cost-effective path. Either way, the goal is restoring the integrity of the envelope, not just covering the problem.

Siding Manufacturers

The long-term performance of a siding installation depends on both the product and the process. We install systems from manufacturers known for durability and warranty strength, including LP® SmartSide® and a range of high-quality vinyl options. Each manufacturer has specific installation requirements - fastening patterns, overlap dimensions, flashing details - and following them precisely is what separates a compliant installation from one that voids coverage down the road. We hold the certifications and follow the standards that keep your warranty intact and your exterior performing as designed.

Soffit & Fascia

Soffit and fascia are often treated as cosmetic features - but they serve a structural and ventilation function that directly affects the performance of the roof above them. Properly vented soffit panels provide the intake airflow that attic ventilation systems depend on, helping to regulate temperature, reduce moisture buildup, and prevent the ice dam formation common in the Chicago area's freeze-thaw cycles. The fascia protects the rafter tails and provides the attachment point for the gutter system. At Americanstruction, we replace damaged wood substrates before installing durable cladding - because covering deterioration without addressing it is not a repair. Updated soffit and fascia systems improve performance, extend roof life, and give the roofline a finished, consistent appearance.
